What is the Advanced Open Water Diver course?

It’s the next level of scuba training after Open Water certification. This course helps you gain experience and dive skills through five different types of dives, including deep and navigation.

Do I need to be certified to enroll?

Yes. You must have a valid Open Water Diver certification before enrolling in the Advanced course.

What types of dives are included?

The course includes five adventure dives: two required (Deep and Navigation), and three electives such as Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, or Wreck Diving, depending on availability.

How long does the course take?

It typically takes 2–3 days to complete, depending on your schedule and dive site conditions.

Where are the dives conducted?

Dives are conducted at local sites like Lake Mead, Lake Mojave, or Sand Hollow, offering real-world conditions and varied terrain.

Do I need to complete eLearning?

Yes, there’s a brief online learning component for each dive type to prepare you before getting in the water.

What’s included in the course fee?

Enrollment includes instructor-led training, site fees, certification card, and access to rental gear if needed. A detailed gear checklist will be provided upon registration.

What can I do after completing this course?

You’ll be qualified to dive deeper and in more varied environments. It also opens the door to specialty certifications, Rescue Diver training, and leadership-level courses like Divemaster.

1. Verify Your Prerequisites
 - You must be Open Water certified before starting Advanced. If you're unsure, contact us and we’ll help verify your eligibility.

 - Select from a range of available specialty dives, including Deep and Navigation (required), and others like Night, Buoyancy, or Search & Recovery.

3. Enroll & Train
 - Register with us, complete the required online learning, and schedule your in-water sessions at your convenience.
