About the Resort

Captain Don's Habitat sits on a low limestone cliff overlooking Bonaire's calm western shore, about a mile north of downtown Kralendijk. Founded by Captain Don Stewart — one of the Caribbean's original scuba pioneers and a driving force behind the creation of the Bonaire Marine Park — the resort is built around "Total Diving Freedom": grab a tank and shore dive the house reef right off the divers-only pier whenever you want, day or night. The on-site PADI/SDI 5-star dive operation also runs three boat departures daily to 50+ moored sites along the coast and around Klein Bonaire. Between dives, enjoy the waterfront Rum Runner's restaurant, the pool, and sunset views over the Caribbean.

• 6 days of diving planned around the 7-night stay — boat dives plus all the shore diving you want, with the day before your flight home kept dry for your no-fly time
• Nitrox included at no extra charge

Not Included (paid separately, per person)

• $75 Bonaire Visitor Entry Tax (age 13+, paid online before departure)
• Airport transfers — $40 round trip per person ($36 per person group rate for groups of 8+); one way $30
• $40 STINAPA marine park tag (per person, per year)

Deposit, payment & cancellation

• A $500 per person deposit (non-refundable) reserves your spot
• The remaining balance is due February 23, 2027 (60 days before departure)
• A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments
• Additional cancellation penalties from the resort apply inside 45 days of arrival (2 room nights per room cancelled); no-shows and arrival-day cancellations are non-refundable
